Prayers
Prayers are on the way. I just went through a similar situation last week and it is agony waiting for the results. I also had to drink the barium and then when I went into the room to be scanned they made me drink more. I thought I was going to puke on the technicans shoes. I promise that I will remember you in my prayers. Love Surf -

Big prayers going up MamaG.
Big prayers going up MamaG. I have a lot of numbness too and after many tests we boiled it down to the severe neuropathy I got from the chemo. I'll take the neuropathy and deal with it over the alternative. Hoping it's just that for you too.
Mountains of love and Mile of prayers,

That's what's wonderful about this site. You can go on and find help, advice, and sisters in the same shoes as you are in. What tests did they put you through, Kari? Just wondering what I may have in store....after the CT. -

I pray for peace as I know how nervous one feels before ANY test.
Keep us posted.
(I've had numbness too but it's neuropathy from the Chemo).
Blessings,

MamaG I had a CT of my
MamaG I had a CT of my brain, then a CT of my lungs, checking the areas that it could have spread, oh and an MRI of my spine and a bone density test. All the tests came back good and I now see a neurologist to control the neuropathy. Sounds weird but those of us on this site understand it "I'm so blessed to have severe neuropathy" I will admit, I was scared shi#le$$ when they wanted to look at my brain right away because I lost my Mom to lung cancer that metastasized to her brain. Scan was good and I was very happy to hear I would just be dealing with neuropathy. What kind of chemo did you have? Taxol is hard on the nerves, that's what got me. I know you'll be ok, you are too awesome to not be ok.Kari

Praying for good results. I think the MRI of my brain scared me the most, Thank goodness mine came back clean. Remember, that chemo does cause numbness, or what i like to call the "dropsies". -
