I wrote bc a letter

I want to tell you up front that I hate you. Because you make me very tried, and in constant extreme pain, the memory I had is gone. You change my life and my future I can’t dream to far in advance because I know deep down you are waiting to surprise me again. Some call you the BIG C but I call you by every letter Cruel, Aggressive, Nasty, Crazy, Evil, Rotten disease. You never leave me alone because you stay in the back of my mind. I think you give pleasure in giving grief. But also like making a person think about life in a very unique way.

Even though I hate you I am also happy. Because I do not take life for grated anymore. You have brought me closer to God and help me have a stronger faith. Something that I probably would have taken for granted. For that I am happy. At time I can change those six letter into something positive. Like Courage ,Acceptance, Notice, Caring, Enrich, Rewarding. You gave me the courage to fight back and to accept that thing made have change but I can make difference on how I deal with it. Notice that life is too short and don’t sweat the small stuff live life don’t let life live you. Caring enough to fight this battle and by expression your love an appreciation for the people in life . Finally enrich and rewarding life experiences that has come from this disease once you realize it is going be part of your life. So cancer it going to be a long ride we have a love hate relationship until one of us get Trier of fighting. I guess you have a hell of a fight to battle against me. Until next fight see much later C.A.N.C.E.R.

    Well said. As horrible as cancer is, it also draws out the important things in life as you mentioned. It teaches us to have a grateful heart. Not to take life for granted.

    and tell cancer that I am sorry but it's over. This relation ship was not good for me.
    It even made me sick. And not to mention all the mind games, is it over or will we be
    together again soon. But this was a one sided relationship, I feel as if I had no say.
    Cancer may have started this and took away so much from me and caused me so
    much pain and grief, but I am going to put an end to this unhealthy relationship.
    I mean COME ON! It took my independence, my health, hair and even my toe nails!!
    What's up with that? Some of my friends stopped coming around because
    they did not like the company I was in.

    So hit the road cancer and don't you come back no more!!!

    CANCER MIGHT HAVE WON THE BATTLE
    Cancer won the 1st battle because I got it, but I won the 2nd because now I'm cancer free
    but the WAR is not over for I will not give up.
