Anyone Else Having Problems with "Online Cancer Survey"?

Every time I sign into the cancer.org website, up pops this survey....clearly stating it is not affiliated with ACS, has nothing to do with cancer, and would I please take a quick survey. How to do you make this thing disappear? Am I the only one receiving it. What in the world are people thinking when they invade our website for their own profit. Where's the website police when you need them? Thanks for letting me vent. Hugs.

    I never got it.
I never got it. Sorry Judy. I have problems with it being slow sometimes, like freezing up or something.

    This isn't coming from ACS,
This isn't coming from ACS, so don't know how to get rid of it. Most of the time they will give you an "opt out" selection, but this screen doesn't have one. Thanks for listening.
    Hugs.

    Annoying
Sounds like a pop-up window. Can you go into your preferences and dis-allow cookies?

    Thanks for the suggestion,
Thanks for the suggestion, Mimi...I have done that, and can't tell where it is getting through. Maybe they will get tired of trying, since I ignore each time it pops up. Judy

    Run a virus scan?
You might want to run a virus check Judy. I haven't had this happen either.

    Judy,
It happens all the time to me as well and sometimes it just pops up when I am trying to read a thread.

    Really ticks me off.

I don't get it on cancer.org but I do on another site. Ticks me off too. I ignore it and read around it. Not sure how it gets there because I block pop ups too.

    Judy,

Maybe you could try signing in directly to csn instead of cancer.org: http://csn.cancer.org

    Maybe you should contact ACS
Maybe you should contact ACS and see what they say.

I log in where Mimi posted too and have never seen it.

I will try signing in to csn
I will try signing in to csn and see what happens. This really irritates me when I get this voice "thanking me for participating". Can't seem to get around it, so will try Mimi's suggestion. Thanks.

    I have "cancer survivors
I have "cancer survivors network" as one of my favorites, so just go there, hit that and up comes the front page where you sign in. Haven't had your problem but was wondering if theres any way to save our name and password so we don't have to sign in every time.

    favorites
I have csn.cancer.org as my favorite and always sign in there and never go through another site to come here.

The pop up comes up for me when I go to read a thread not all threads but every once in awhile.

    Not signing in
I think you can do this by setting up your computer security so that it remembers passwords. I have my laptop at home set up like this, so that I can just open my favorite pages and I don't have to sign in anymore.

    No logging in?
You have it set up where you don't have to sign in Mimi? How? That would be great.

I hope that Judy got her pop up quiz to go away. That would be annoying.
