Well I think I have had my fill on hospice nurse , well not all of them but , We had a great nurse last night, and she said the other nurse were over medicating Jack we kicked back on the pump and his respirtion are back up to 12 from 1-2, the one nurse was pressing his pain pump every 15 minutes so he was out of it, and she would sleep and also she was suction his mouth and it was causing more bleeding from his tumor, and the head nurse said she should no doing that because she could rupture a vessel, she was doing that because she did not want to change the gauze in his mouth, And the one nurse was telling us when we cant come in and not, well I have news for her if I want to stay with Jack all night I wlll,it was like she has no feeling, just because he is dying he still deserves the best care and respect, The main nurse today came today, and we were concern about him not eating, and the other nurse told us not to, the main nurse said if his tube is working he can have alittle ,

The nurse did not show up so Im doing the care and he is so at peace, very comfortable and he even took a little water and rice milk so I was happy, I had about 3 hours sleep last night, but Jack is comortable so that is all that matters,,

Now we have him comfortable, I dont know how long he will stay like this, He is a fighter, he is so strong

    Keep talking to him......
Thats his comfort and yours also. I am so sad for you and Jack but the talks between the both of you now are more important to you both than they have ever been and also more consoling to you both. He hears you and understands and he is comforted when he knows that you are and will be ok. Thats what he needs to hear, also how much love for him that you have. Im sure he knows but the comforting sounds of your voice to him gives him peace and will to you also....hugs, Clift

Patty and Jack, I am thinking of you
Patty and Jack- I am thinking of you both. It brings tears to my eyes to hear what's happening. Some day I will be where you are now. I'm not sure when, no one is. I'm seeing some decline in Dale a little bit everyday. Patty, I lit some incense yesterday under the full moon for you 2. Tonight should be the harvest moon. Step outside and love it. Hugs and prayers to you both.

    the rollercoaster
My emotions are lost, jack was our of it since Friday night so we are thinking this is it, so we make peace with that, Jack is on his journey then he wakes for 5 minutes and tells, me he loves me so then I get hope again , now he is out again, How long can this go on, I feel like I am on a emotional train wreck and hospice tells not to feed him, so is he hungry is he is pain, I dont know, This is breaking my heart Thank you for lighting the incents, I light one every day and say a pray, I need some kind of peace that Jack is ok ,

Im a lost soul without Jack

I have not been in your

I have not been in your position so I will not even pretend to understand the overwhelming emotions you must be experiencing at a time such as this. I just want you to know that you and Jack are in my thoughts.

I will pray that Jack remains peaceful and that you are blessed with a calm heart and tranquility of spirit...

    hungry for you
Don't worry about food, because Jack's body probably can't handle it and doesn't need it. He's probably only hungry for the feeling of your hand in his. He is so lucky to have such a monumental love beside him as he moves closer to being with the Father.

    Since each person's
Since each person's experience with this roller coaster ride is unique, I can't say I totally feel what you are going through. I can say I have taken a similar ride recently and I know it is very hard. My prayers are with you. You have been a wonderful caregiver to Jack. You can always carry that in your heart where he will always reside. Blessings and hugs, Fay
