I get disconnected today from treatment 12, I am so excited! I will get another scan in 30 days then if results are okay then, we will get another scan in 3 months. They are still keeping an eye on the lit area above my liver, but for now there isn't any activity going on there and my CEA level is normal.

I have been taking deep breaths and so glad I am at this point.

Thank you all for the support and will chat with you soon.

Yeah!

That's great news Nana.
At first I thought "well I've heard of going #1, or going #2, but going #12?"
I hope things stay clear for you.

Raquel,

I'm so happy for you. That's a accomlishment. It might seem a little strange not to have to go back every week or every other week but you'll get over that fast! Just have something to do to fill up the day you usually had Chemo.

My best to you and always keep your energy for moving forward!

I had 12 but it was four before surgery and 8 afterwards;
know you are so happy to be finished....actually found
that I missed the support I was getting from the nursing
staff during the treatment, that was strange!

Hopefully you are finished with it all...Things will start to get back normal (semi) as they can and hopefully soon enough it will all be a past memory. You did it !!! Good for you, celebrate a large milestone in the eventual complete dismissal of this disease....

Bless you,
Clift

That's a big accomplishment. Take your time and enjoy not having chemo or going to chemo or dealing with chemo. I had some rough times emotionally right after chemo for a couple of months and my neuropathy worsened. I think the drugs work for awhile afterwards and our bodies have been though a lot. Now, nearly 4 months later, I feel very good with lots more energy. Neuropathy has improved slightly or at least changed a bit.
