Update on Doctor appts

Ok I have not said much about my appts this week cause they were a little off kilter. First off I wont see the phyciatrist till Tuesday he had an family emergency, my phycologist (the talky doctor, who I still have not decidd if I like or not) assures me that my issues right now are justified, and that the added hormone deperation is making things seem worse then they rally are, I have to addmit that it is nice to have my feeling valedated, but would much rather not have to deal with them at all. Oh well, one day at a time, or one moment at a time, depending on the current hormone rage.

My cat scan, well that was just down right alarming. I drank that barium stuff, and all I can say about that ie ewwwwwwwwwwwww, then kept myself busy in the craft room at the VA, they have all kinds of things for us to do. Ceramics, leather work, wood work, even some really cool model cars, and seeing as I am a big time car person you can count onthe fact that my collection is growing.
Oppps got distracted there didn't I? Anyway after waiting the two hours for this stuff to work its way through my system where i got a little more ewwwwwwwwww to drink, and my IV in perperation for the dye. My favorite part of the this scan, it always makes me laught when the dye starts cause I can't help but think how many people atcually jump up think oh crap I just peed myself. I sick sense of humor.
Anyway after the scan I was suppose to be done, this is where I am suppose to exit the hospital and go to Mcdonalds for my large Vanila shake, yep that is my reward after every procedure. However this was not to be, the tech came out and told me my doctor wanted to head to x-ray, then to ultra sound. Needless to say, my hormone rage started its climb at that very moment. Debbie my friend who takes me to the hospital for any procedures, told me not to sweat it they are just getting more views. Of course this earned her a you just got moved to the top of my list look. Its ok though she has gotten that look alot in the 15 years we have know each other.
Now ofcourse the VA being hat it is, I was told that my doctor would review the findings with me at our next appt. So I am in a holding pattern until August 7th unless they call me ahead of time. I am hoping and planning on them not calling me, no news after all is good news.
As my dear friend Re told me last night, I will keep myself busy, i will belive that it is all just to insure that everything is good to go.
