I am looking for an adult who has or had been told they have a JPA. I was 27 when the docs found mine. I'm looking for any info you can offer. TY
i do not have any experience with jpa. i just want to encourage you to go to a teaching hospital. it will have the latest treatments. get on line and find the nearest one in your area.
I am not sure you'll get this since your posted in July 09, but I just joined today...nd I was told I had a "malignent looking Astrcytoma" 18 years ago...biopsy showed it may be a Pilocytic astro but not enough tissue to be certain, had radiation since they did not agree with watch and wait. Only 30-40 % was surgically removed....18 years later, I have a lot of raiation necroses,no signs of residual tumor, extreme fatigue...but still alive!, Bes
