I wonder how many of us are on Face Book, I am, you can find me under Janie Bennett....I have pics there and its appears to be a fun place and much easier to use then myspace...If anyone wants to look me up feel free.

    when you do a search for Janie Bennett, I m the first one to come up, I have a pcture of me standing in my kitchen. The others are JANE, not JANIE...just FYI

    I believe facebook uses some sort of "intelligence" in putting up the lists. If I search for my name, i'm the first one that comes up as well! But you can't find me from searching cause I'm set to private. I do realize most of them are janes, and there are actually only a handful that do show up as Janie (grrrrrr it's not like I'm searching Jane!)... None of the janie's that come up for me look like they're in a kitchen, though! very frustrating! There is a janie with something green behind her, is that you?

    Nope just looked at the pic and there is no green in the back ground...

    It is funny I have been on this board since nov 2001 and the only picture I have ever posted is a vague image of me fishing in my boat. Last week I actually updated it and for the first time ever there is an almost recognisable picture of the wild colonial boy....Cheers Ron.

    addictive is an understatement!
    I have been on there for quite awhile, but only recently have been going there about 3 times a day. Was really surprised to find some of my family on there - lol! I think if you search sherrie kiefer you would find me - always looking for more friends! need to get some more pics on there tho. I'm also on myspace, i think if you look for daydreamer110761 thats where I am.

    I had a good chemo blog for a while, it was helpful then it got to be a drain. Tried FaceBook but that got tedious. Too much info

    LOL!!! You just made me choke on my drink! I never thought of Facebook as being a place to announce to one's world of friends that one just took a bowel movement . Facebook is a great networking tool... and one that I use to keep in touch with friends and family, in particular my theatre friends. For the first time, I can finally keep track of who is working on what show, when it opens and whether or not I can schedule it in my calendar to take them in. I would just wing it before and miss more than I saw :)

    As for a blog... I have to admit, I love blogging and I do a blog to keep family/friends up to date with what is going on in my life. A friend of mine actually started it for me 2+ years ago when I was in the hospital and had just been diagnosed. EVERYONE (including myself) was freaking out, so the blog came in real handy to keep friends/family updated with information rather than relying on rumour. After I got out of the hospital, a month later... I took over writing the blog and it has become a "blog of a Stage IV cancer journey"... that does not totally focus on cancer, cancer, cancer. There's more to life when one is going through this journey than just cancer and doctors/medical stuff... and it's "life" that seems to get forgotten since we have to arrange our schedules around doctors and medical appts. I try to show, by just recording my own personal journey, that the realities of having cancer are very scary... but at the same time, one can do things they really enjoy and share with friends/family they love.

    I've been gone on a "Girls Night" last night with some girlfriends. Hahahaha... putting four girlfriends (and later, 1 husband) in a hotel room with the makings of Chocolate Martinis is very, very dangerous!! LOL!! I think I'm still recovering from lack of sleep although I did catch up on some when I got home today :)

    Speaking of which :::making note on "to-do" list::: I really must update my blog (http://ourcheryl.blogspot.com) tonight!! :)
