I'm Going to be a Grandma this year!

I just found out that my daughter is pregnant and will be having my first grandbaby this October. I cant tell you how excited I am. Thank the LORD, he is bringing me my true joy, I cant wait. I am so excited, I am in a bit of a shock, my daughter was supposed to wait a few years but you know how that goes. She is still a bit young, but maybe this is what she needs, I know I need it. All I can say is thank you God, for this very big blessing, I couldnt ask for anything better. I am so happy, and its been a very long time since I was even a little happy. I just had to share the news!

Hope all is well...I want to write a bit more on a few other subjects so will be doing that soon.

    That is OUTSTANDING news! I know how glad I was to hear a baby was coming! Didn't think I'd see the day, and she is just the cutest baby ever! You have so much joy to look forward to!

    Congratulations to you!!! I found out while going through chemo treatments that I was going to be a first time grandma (Nonnie). Our little "guy" is coming in April - only about 7 more weeks and I cannot wait to hold him.

    Congratulations Grandma!!! OMG... is that not the most exciting gift you can be given??? And it's not even your birthday!!! :D Get out those knitting needles! You've got some knitting to catch up on Grandma :):) And haul out that sewing machine. You have a wee little one to start spoiling. And imagine all those hours of babysitting... it's all going to be absolutely fantastic!!

    You have every right to be beside yourself with excitement :)

    Your daughter and I that is. I got married last May and I'm due September 6th. I swear that is all my mom and I talk about anymore. My mom has 4 grandkids, all girls so everyone is thinking blue!! Except me of course, I want it to be a surprise and I'm not finding out so I'm thinking yellow, green and orange. Congratulations! Tell your daughter to get on babycenter.com and put in her due date, it gives you all sorts of updates.

    Is that possible?
    I love my daughter endlessly, I cant even imiagine how much love I will have for this little person. I love him/her already, I cant wait to meet her.... yes I want a her, everyone else wants a him, but as long as its healthy I will take either one, or maybe twins? Twins do run in my son in laws family...now that would be way cool....God has blessed us... and I thank him.,

    This is the most exciting thing to ever have happened to me other then the birth of Erika. Oh just thinking of holding her, and babysitting her, and spoiling her. I dont want to share, so I know this is going to be a problem for me, since my sil has a mom thats is going to want to be in the mix of things too, how does one share? I will have to pray alot about this one...LOL I want to be greedy, I want to be with my grandbaby every second I can. But I will have to learn how to share....*pout* LOL

    We have 11 grandkids and I love every minute of them and miss them so when I don't see them. We actually acquire grandchildren from church and, of course, everywhere we go on a mission. You go girl!!!!

    Let me know what you're having and I'll crochet a baby blanket for you.

    I will tell her and thank you. I do believe God timed this just right. Here I thought I would be dead by October, but NO I will be celebrating a new begining, one that is a part of me, that I will have the honor to watch and help grow. I am truly happy, and I cant tell you the last time I was able to say those words...

    Erika got married last APril, so you too have alot in common. I will tell her about that address. I am so excited, as I know you are too. There are mostly boys in her husbands family so a girl will probably be a surprise, but its what I am hoping for. I just cant wait, its going to be so cool to meet my grandbaby. There just arent words that come to mind to describe how great I feel....
