Topotecan for recurrent SCLC

Has anyone had experience with Topotecan given for recurrent small cell lung cancer? The first line chemo was cisplatin and etoposide given with radiation. |

Hi my mother took topotecan and It did'nt work at all, but I guess some have had positive results from it.
Somewhere it must have had good results, or else it would'nt be given for sclc.

I forgot to add that her first line of treatment was the same as yours also.
I read somewhere, but who knows where or if it's true that sometimes now there giving the same chemo for re-occurance as they did the first time around, only if you had good results (remission).
