Hi Scribbles. First of all , I'm sorry you had a reoccurrance, but keep the faith. You beat it once and you can again. I agree with the social worker. You need to tell your kids, but you need to have a calm, reassuring conversation with them without being too alarming. they are entitled to know. They know something is something is "wrong" anyway and it's better that you explain it than they accidentally find out about it and are misinformed from some other source .My husband has liver mets from colon cancer, and we are praying for shrinkage for a resection, rfa or cryosurgery as options. Transplant is not an option for liver mets, although, we were told it is for primary liver cancer if a donar liver can be found. Good luck and God Bless. Keep the faith!0

thanks a lot for the encouragement, hopefulone. The social worker has sent me some articles to help me find ways to tell my kids about my illness.I've rehearsed some lines, but when i look at my childrens faces and when they are so happy talking during our family meeting or family night, my heart just melt and the words just fly away. But one day i could muster the courage, i hope. By the way ive also ready your personal web page and i admire you for your attitude and outlook on life and the situation of your husband.People like you (and my husband too)are angels!Im praying for you and your husband too. I hope he is doing well. We CAN beat this -cer! Take care and God bless.hopefulone said:Hi Scribbles. First of all , I'm sorry you had a reoccurrance, but keep the faith.
