It has been two months since last radiation treatment for throat cancer. My husband has tired of puddings, yogurt, etc and is trying to eat more solid foods. Canned peaches, lightly scrambled eggs and poached egg on bread with gravy seem to go down most easily.
Does anyone have other ideas for "slippery foods"?

Hi Jaunty, glad to see that you are still hanging there with us. I finished my radiation treatments almost two years ago. I have been eating a lot of soups. I still have trouble eating real foods, due to the excessive swelling, but I try to to eat something every day. I can manaage to get some apple sauce down, and puddings too. What I really want is a big thick juicy cheeseburger, and fries. Oh well... Good luck to you. Just hang in there.
