PET scan results - 9 months NED!
I received the results of my PET scan late yesterday and I am still NED - hooray! That makes 9 months since the end of frontline treatment for uterine carcinosarcoma (MMMT), stage 1b, grade 3.
The mass that they found in my chest during the last scan is still there but it hasn't changed at all - same size, same metabolism - so they're even more convinced that it is a benign "thymic rebound" and will resolve itself eventually.
Next physical exam is in 3 months. Next scan in 6 months. I am so going to celebrate this weekend and hope that you all do, too!
