Metric
How big is 0.6 x 0.5 x 0.4 ? This is the size of the node on my thyroid they are watching. Said it was too small to even needle biospy. It sounds big enough to me if this is in American inches. Metric, I have no idea! Thanks, Debrajo

Conversion
I'm assuming it's centimeter so the conversion would be 1 centimeter = .3937 inch that's close to 3/8 of an inch
If it's in millimeters it would be 10 times smaller 1 millimeter = .03937 inch
I hope this helps to visualize the size as .5cm would be smaller than the eraser on a lead pencil.
The drs. office should have taken the time to explain clearly as any unkown always lead to extra stress and anxiety that is not needed.
I wish you the best on your journey and hope I didn't make things even more confusing.

Thanks so much! I read my reports and it didnt say centimerers or millittmeters , just "too small to needle biospy" Hoping for the smaller! Thanks again!
Update: It is in centimeters, so a little smaller than a pencil head eraser...isn't that big enough to biospy with a needle? They don't seemed to be too conserned...my next ultra sound isn't til sometime in May.
