In June two weeks in Arizona
In June two weeks in Arizona upgrading my daughters house and having fun too. More exciting because we have decided to retire there and are looking at housing at Fountain Hills. Plus The World Cup will be watched closely by my hubby and daughter while I visit the pool and play with dog......

Plans are still being made,
Plans are still being made, but here is a start:
My elderly (91) parents live in eastern Ohio, near one of my brothers. I plan to drive out (almost 400 miles) next Saturday and stay a few days, as I will be on spring break from school. They are moving into a new assisted living place next week, and so I plan to be a help and encouragement to them. My husband and I will probably go out for a few days in August.
The first part of August, my husband and I will head to Lancaster, PA. We do this every other year or so, going to Sight & Sound and to Shady Maple Smorgasbord (meeting up with friends), golfing (him, as I have not given it a try since my surgery two years ago), and usually stocking up on sneakers from an outlet store.
I will be involved in my church's Vacation Bible School. I go to a small country church, but somehow we manage to get 80-100 kids out for this (Ages 4-15).
Other times will be spent on projects around the house -- I have a small interior painting job to do, for example. I also will spend time with friends I do not see often because of our schedules and the distances between us. I may get out my golf clubs, if I can get my shoulder feeling better (long story). I have places I can go hit some balls without paying to be out on a course.
I don't do anything major in the spring because I work in a school and only have that one week. Most of what we do is centered around family and church and easily fits our schedules. For example, tomorrow we are taking an elderly widower out to breakfast. In the afternoon we are heading to a birthday celebration for a friend turning 90. This weekend we have Palm Sunday specials at church. We also are going to a relative's for dinner to celebrate another's birthday. (My husband is one of 16 children and it seems it is always someone's birthday -- esp. in March and April.

I hope all goes smoothly with your parents transitioning to new home. I too work for a school (special ed) but I am a receptionist so I still work on spring break with NO ONE HERE!
one of 16-wow for sure lots of birthdays. I HOPE YOU can play golf when up to it. I ONLY play mini golf!

I work in special ed. I have three students, Grade 5, I am responsible for in their core classes. There are some real challenges there, but more academic than behavioral. Some days are more tiring than others. (You can imagine the challenges we are dealing with in NYS Common Core testing. Those tests are ridiculous, even for kids without challenges.)
The class I tag with is great, and we have bonded. (They hope I get pushed on to 6th grade next year with them -- while my main 5th grade teacher wants me to stay in that grade.) We'll see. Today I had an onc appointment and missed school. Tomorrow they will be wondering where I was today. [BTW: had an excellent appointment.]

I am really excited!
My sister called today to let me know that she would be taking me up on my invitation to come and visit. She is coming for a week in June. I can't wait to see her. It has been a really hard time for her recently. She lost her stepdaughter to cancer at the age of 27. I know she and her husband really need this trip. Also, I have not seen her since last July so it will be really good for both of us.
Hugs,
Georgia
