Pet Photos..

We have done a spin of this in the past, changing out avatars to our pets for a week. Once even changing our avatar to our caregiver or spouse...kinda fun, but a little weird, LOL.

Anyways, with Rick's golden, Matt's calico (I believe), and I know Phrannie will post up her new boy and maybe her bestest sheppard...Maybe even Pat will post up one of his three, or Jan and Chargee...

I decided to start a new thread for us with pet's to share and to get off topic just a little.

As Matt has mentioned before, the power of pets and animals on healing and just taking your mind off of your troubles sometimes is amazing..

Ok...I went back and looked for John's old

instructions....he said to post in the HTML codes from places like Photobucket or Flicker....so I'm going to try that Laughing

Ok...so I did the HTML links from Photobucket and they didn't work....only put links in to go to the album....tho doing this worked for me before, I don't know why it's not working now.

Justine makes the rounds every morning to make sure all is well in the back yard.  Afterwards she gets a sip of water

    Abby & Sam!

I see an insert image button, so let's see if this works! Here are Abby (tabby) and Sam, our two cats. Abby was putting on weight so we got a second cat so she would get some exercise. Now she's slimmed down... and the new cat, Sam, is ridiculously fat! Don't go by the picture--black is a slimming color on him, and he has strategically hidden his bulk behind Abby. :-)

Copied and pasted URL into Insert Image

I just copied and pasted the URL of the image into the pop-up when I clicked Insert/Edit Image on the post header/menu bar. I have my own website/server, though, so I'm using that rather than Photobucket. If we can figure out a way for you to get the image to me, I can upload it to my server for you and see if that link works when you paste it into the pop-up.

    Photos...

You can do it at least two ways that I know of Phrannie...

    Using the tree icon (insert/edit image), do the following;

click the tree icon, (for an image you have saved on your computer)

click image URL (the browse button right side)

    click the upload (top left)

File (browse..., where you have the file stored)

Upload (this puts it in a folder of yours on CSN) close the box for upload

click the file you want to post, the Insert File (top right)

put in an image description and title, then insert

    MOJO

    MoJo, Phrannies Big Boy

This will insert the image into your post...

You can click the image and size it also if you want..

You can use the same method with a few differences for Photobucket using the Direct Link is actually better than I first told you.

    I LOVE this thread.....

Joe....Sophie and Lola would make spectacular friends....they're both girls of French desent....and they are nearly the same age....ha!!  Matt, the first playmate Lola met when I got her was a big collie like your Oregon....what a gentle guy, and so patient with a youngster.  This is Lola....my first venture into a different breed other than GSD's....she's just as sassy as she looks....
