Chemo can be tougher as it goes on
I also get that bone pain and awful metal mouth taste. I find that I ' m sleepy all day and then have a hard time at night. Constipation is also a huge problem for me. Your Onc can give you meds to help with the bone pain. I've been doing this so long that I know how to prepare ... I make these yummy ice pops with fruit and juices. The cold pops seem to taste better than other things. I also stock up on movies, etc. to keep me company when I'm awake long into the night. It also helps me so very much to have all of you who know how hard chemo can be to talk to!

the effects of chemo are cumulative or maybe it's just that our bodies weaken. Once your chemo is done, you will feel better though it may take time. It took the better part of a year for my aches and pains to go away. I have felt great for almost two years. I wish the same for you.

You are such an inspiration to me! You are such a good example of how we should handle all this! Thank you for that! I was wondering if you were tired and achy with Doxil? I have very little physical endurance. If you had the aching, what did you take for it?
And I know you enjoyed your break, but I really wished you could have had a longer one. Four weeks is just not enough!
Thanks for your input!
