My husband, Andy, is still fighting the beast. He was in a clinical trial that worked for six cycles but then the response ended. He had a chemo vacation and is now on a new chemo regimen for six weeks. Then, we'll see if there's response. If not, on to the next game plan. More tools in the toolbox! Meanwhile I will research more clinical trials for the future. Not giving this battle up yet!
I've missed this board but, just got out of the habit of checking in. Tonight we needed advice on peg tube removal and knew exactly where to look. What a great site!

It HAS Been a While
Hello again. W
What chemo is Andy doing now? When will they test to see the reaction to the chemo?
I'm with you - now is no time for giving up! I can see how you get out of the habit of checking in here - I can recall, though, a time when I came to the site several times a day.
So, does needing removal advice mean he's getting de-pegged?0
