Finished my treatment!
28 days of radiation and 10 days of chemo.
I counted my medical appointments and in the past 66 days I've been to 71 appointments! And if you take off weekends and holidays, the average is 1.5 every week day. Wow!
I am quite exhausted with oozing burns, nausea and mouth sores so I don't think I can go out dancing or drink champagne to celebrate just yet. I don't miss the 20 pounds I lost though.
I can not WAIT to start feeling better.
Thank you to all posters on this group. Your information has been very helpful through this challenging journey.
Best wishes to all of us in staying cancer free.

A late congrats . . .
I haven't logged on for a while but so happy to see you completed treatment. I know you probably feel lousy right now, but trust us, you are turning the corner about now and days will get better and better. Just let yourself rest and try to be patient. The body and it's healing process are nothing short of miraculous and with a good mindset, and support from us, you may appreciate your body more than you ever have. It has been put through a lot and is healing as I write this. God Bless You.
