I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. The battle is not an easy one. I've been battling this horrible disease since July of 1999. I looked at your profile and you mentioned you will be going through more chemo, of course, what else! I'm just curious if you oncologist ever mentioned having a Stem Cell Transplant. Did you ever have one? I did. So far it seems to be successful, but I await a CT Scan because one of my scans didn't come back that great. If the disease is back again I will have a BMT from my sister. Are these options for you, or did you go through them? Hang in there! I know how depressing this is.

It's really hard not to be depressed. My doc mentioned a Mini-Allogenic for me if need next time around. With one of these you need a donor to match you. thankfully, my sister is a perfect match. There are many options out there. I know it's really tough and depressing, but try and hang in there. Talking helps me a lot so if you want to keep up with the chats, I'll keep checking back. My prayers are with you!

Hi Billy, my name is Tami, I'm 29 and awaiting news if I'm in remission still or it's back. I wait and see for a CT Scan on April 20th. If back it will be my 3rd occurance as well and I'll be in for a Mini Allogenic BMT. I'm curious if this what was told you'll under go. I've been through a Stem Cell and I'm curious if it's the same. I'm praying everything is fine, but I'm preparing for the worst. It's easier mentally I think. I had a gallium recently that came back positive, but my CT at the time didn't comfirm it. I holding on to hope that it was just a false positive reading. Again, I sit and wait for the next scan. I wish you the best and sorry to hear you are going through all this again. Write back if you want. Take care, Tami
