Thank you Carlene! You are the Angel!
You snapped be back to reality a bit when I got your text. For some reason, I have been more depressed, aggravated and angry since I was diagnosed 8/2006. I’m just fed up with all the surgery & treatments. Physically, I have bounced back ok and function like I live a full life (NOT) because I work full time but that’s just…

OVCA Vaccine Trial (FANG™) in Dallas
http://mccrc.clinisite.com/index.php?q=node/693 My wife is looking into this trial after her Taxol maintenance regimen concludes this Summer. I don't know if MD Anderson kept a large enough sample of her tumors. Do any of you know if it is common practice to "ice" the tumor specimens after surgery?

Feeling a little sad today :(
I am feeling rather sad today regarding my Mom. I wonder why so many others are getting better and Mom is not. I got to peek at her CA 125 numbers last month before she started the doxil. After 21 treatments her numbers are still 5000+ and the lowest they ever were was 3000+. She deserves to be well and not to have this…

CAAT diet for cancer therapy
I found some fascinating information on dietary amino acid restriction in cancer therapy on the following web site: http://www.apjohncancerinstitute.org/index.htm CAAT = Controlled Amino Acid Therapy (amino acids are the building blocks of protein). The CAAT diet appears to be founded on some legitimate research. I am very…

What is up with all the old threads???
Dear CSN members... If you are tempted to respond to some ancient thread that you found while searching the site, please take a minute to make sure you aren't resurrecting photos and comments from members who have passed away. It's very painful for some of us, and very creepy, as well, to log on and see what appears to be…
