Darker Skin, Hair Growth, Neuropathy and Water Rention
I had my last chemo on October 5, 2022. I wanted to know if anyone had any tips on when my hair might start growing back and any tips on helping it grow back sooner. I don't want to use Biotin as it breaks out my skin. My chemo nurse was saying sometimes people's hair grow back different or even a different color. I can't…

I Finished!!!!
I finished my treatment. ALL OF IT! 5 months of chemo, 1 surgery, 30 rounds of proton radiation and I'm done. I've been at this since November 2021 when I got my biopsy and found out December 1. I am DONE! It is kind of a shock that I won't have to go to weekly/daily doctor appointments. I have a meeting with my oncologist…

Overwhelmed
I went through cancer treatment during Covid lockdown, so I had to go through all treatments, surgery. appointments alone. So I’ve never experienced being with others in the same situation. Today, for the first time, I went to a BC “walk”. When I drove up and saw the sea of pink shirts, I was so overwhelmed I couldn’t stop…

Just finished DCIS Stage 0 surgery, any advice on Radiation and tamoxifen for prevention
I just had a DCIS (stage zero) surgery. I am ER+. I needed some guidance related to next step of treatment/prevention. Any advice on how long after after DCIS surgery should I receive Radiation, after 2 or 3 months? Is it better to delay the radiation to allow the incision to heal completely? What side affects to expect…

Do you actually see your MD or are you always passed off to the PA?
I was dx with Breast Cancer in 2019. Mastectomy with removal of 19 lymph nodes, 4 were malignant. A suspicious mass was found on my kidney in 2019, delaying chemo. In 2020, after radiation was completed, the kidney mass was biopsied and then ablated. Kidney biopsies are not as "certain" as other biopsies - can be…

Side Effects switching from Tamoxifen to Anastrozole
I have been on tamoxifen for 4 years and it is now time to switch to an AI. If you have switched from tamoxifen to an aromatase inhibitor (specifically anastrozole), what was your experience? Did you gain weight? Pain? I've tolerated Tamoxifen pretty well, with the worst side effect being weight gain that will NOT come…

The single mastectomy with a lift on the other side. The other side shows no cancer and I have no genetic markers. I really have no…
