As I was walking down one of the aisles I noticed one of the store employees driving…

Bilirubin
My onc doesn't know what it means, but I had to have my bilirubin rechecked because it was elevated at my 6 month checkup. I got the results yesterday, and it was still elevated, so now I need an appointment for an ultrasound to rule out liver or gall bladder involvement. I am really bummed.

To TGF re Mardi gras "joke
Dear TGF, I hope I didn't insult or offend you with my observation of Mardi Gras and breastless. That was not my intent at all. I would never say anything that I thought would hurt one of my sisters on this board. Please let me know if I did so we can set this right. Love and Hugs, Donna

I just can't stand being away from you...you ARE my family!!!!!
Hello, Kindred Spirits!!! I thought "things" and "situations" outside of these boards would keep me away from all of you for a while. Funny thing though~ while I was depriving myself of the boards and your insightful comments, as well as meeting new ones, Life took care of itself! Some things got settled, some things…

I've Lost My Mind
I think that I have really lost my mind so if anyone happens to find it. Please give it back. What the heck is with this lack of memory? I completed chemo 1 year ago (April 3rd) and I keep thinking that it is going to get better but it doesn't. Actually I did think that I was doing better but now the past couple of weeks I…

No surgery.
Surgery was scheduled for Thursday...they had already cut off chemo. Unfortunately, rash appeared over my torso over the weekend..that alone would probably have done the surgery in, even though they think it is only an allergic reaction to one of the medications. However, today, urine sample showed today that I still have…

Muscle Spasms in torso and neck
I think I come up with the strangest maladies, but here goes. I've been on aromatase inhibitors for almost one year. Within the last few months, I've noticed that if I turn a certain way, tilt my head a certain way, or reach for something, I get "charley horses" or muscle spasms in my midriff, back, shoulders and neck. I'm…

NO evidence of malignancy in either breast!!!!
Ladies, I have been fretting about an MRI I had yesterday. It was purely for radiation planning purposes, not a diagnostic. But still, I was scared to death that somehow more cancer had grown in the left breast, or that something would show up in the right. I had visions of more chemo and fears that TAC had proven…

expanders to implants
I had my expanders removed on April 9th and got the silicone implants. My first couple of days I felt great. I loved shedding those hard rocks just to feel something soft on my chest. My sternum hurt like heck as the surgeon really worked the muscle around the rib/sternum area to try and develop something to resemble…
