angry.....really angry with people
I've been dealing with breast cancer remarkably well until now. I get so angry with people. For instance, my mother-in-law and cousin were talking about what a bad year this has been.....so many relatives (many in their 80's) have had operations. They went on to list them , but neglected to include my mastectomies and…

Reconstruction after 11 years???
I had DCIS and squamous cell carcinoma on the nipple 11 years ago. I received a modified radical mastectomy with no lymph involved. I was not offered reconstruction. I have gotten very tired of a prosthesis since I am in the middle of menopause and the hot flashes are sometimes unbearable. I am wondering if I am foolish…

Posted this earlier and it showed up under another post!! Strange! Apparently recently oncologists have added 1 mg coumadin as long as a port is in - maybe too many blood clots??? I know people a few years ago when I had adjuvant treatment did have a port but no coumadin; however, someone I know who had chemo starting last…

Side effects of Tamoxifen
Has anyone had side effects from Tamoxifen? Specifically, last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a partial masectomy with radiation treatments. I'm 45 years old. I started Tamoxifen in January 2003 and by May 2003 my monthly cycles had stopped. This was an expected side effect. I soon began having problems…
