Hello, I'm new here and I apologize if I've posted in the wrong place.

My wife has a serious case of neuroendocrine cancer. Chemo was not only ineffective but practically killed her. I've been looking for alternatives and came across

cancerfightingstrategies.com

which looks dodgy to me, but who knows? I see that they've been discussed on this site some years ago but without any consensus. Has anyone out there had any personal experience with them, or know anyone who has used their protocols and products?

Thanks for your help!

Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer (Islet Cell Tumor)

May I ask what type of chemo your wife is on, and what types of therapies she was offered besides chemo?  I was diagnosed in Januay 2013 with Islet Cell Tumor (neuroendocrine that orginiated in the pancreas), well-differentiated and moderately growing.  This was after being misdiagnosed in June 2010 with cholahgiocarcinoma and receiving the wrong treatments for 2.5 years.  I've been on various supplements since diagnosis (vitamins, omegas, and various mushroom and plant extracts).  Though I don't believe they helped keep my cancer under control, I do believe they helped my overall health.  Since my rediagnosis, I've tried Afinitor (didn't work), CapTem (shrank my cancer and kept it stable for 26 months), and currently am on Keytruda (immunotherapy) until I can be approved for PRRT at Excel Diagnostics in Houston.  All of my cancer is positive for the receptors that makes PRRT viable for me, something that was discovered after having a dotatate scan.  Please PM me if you think I can be of any help to you.  I'd be more than happy to give you more in depth information pertaining to my case.
