I refused a trial!
Yesterday I supposed to start a new treatment, immune therapy with Temsirolimus,
but the Dr. said they have not gotten approval from the insurance yet and offered me the trial with
Lenvatinib(for tyroid) and Pembrolizumab(for melanoma).
I agreed, but then at home when I read the info I got so scared....
On Monday I'll ask for Temsirolimus and we will see.
For Metformin he said there is no enough data, as for naturopathy, suplememnts, etc.
Have anyone heard about Temsirolimus?
Thanks sisters

Hey Cucu - You probably have
Hey Cucu - You probably have already checked the web but I wanted to share this with you just in case you didn't see it.

The most likely side effects sound like they may be easier on you than our frontline chemo was. I hope that is the case for you!
Also, glad to see that you have a doctor in NY? And, it sure sounds like they are looking out for you by working on multiple options when insurance doesn't want to comply. I hope you can push your insurance to approve your treatment asap. Always amazes me when they drag their feet with our lives in the balance!
I hope you are staying strong and please know that we are right there with you!
