Eileen's sister posted this on Facebook yesterday .

My sister Jeannie Tidy and her daughter Heather DeLapouyade went to visit Eileen today. I was able to talk to her on the phone briefly. She is no longer walking, mostly using a wheelchair and very weak. It was great to talk to her, she sounded pretty good and even made a funny crack about the Seahawks Green Bay game. She said they were both cheaters. Haha, I'm not sure what she meant but loved that she had an opinion. She's still smiling, and as my son Phillip Thomas said, she is one tough woman.

    Our most fierce warrior

Thank you for keeping us regularly updated on Eileen/Cypress Cynthia. She has battled the Beast longer than most and been a tremendous source of information and inspiration.

    Thanks for the update.
Yet it is sad to hear. So glad she has not lost her sense of humor and is still smiling...

    Thank you for the update.
    Hugs,

    Thank You

Thank you for keeping us updated.  I have located Eileen's Face Book page and Prayer Group and go there to see the posts about once a week but have not joined it since I don't live in Louisiana and I haven't met her in person...but she has been such a wonderful strong warrior here on this discussion board....we all feel we know her in a way.  Please tell her we send our love and are praying for strength.   I know how difficult this can be for all of them...my baby sister died in 2010 after a two year battle with pancreatic.  Good to hear that she is alert and watching the football too.
