Hi all, I hope this finds you all feeling good and optimistic about the future.   I gotta tell you, this is an amazing Christmas for me this year.. I'm just so happy and thankful to be experiencing it. It feels like," YAY! I get to have Christmas!!!" I intend to have many more in the years to come and I hope never to lose this perspective. Every bit of music, the lights, scents, scenes, absolutely thrill me. The other day at Macy's (Our only department store) I saw a little girl come upon the decorated trees, obviously for the first time. She was so filled with joy and delight at the sight, that an unexplainable sound of awe escaped from her throat. I thought, "That's it, that's me!" I'm so grateful to be here.

I join you in the celebration

I join you in the celebration of Christmas.  Although my chemo and radiation therapies begin in the morning, I choose to celebrate this special season with joy and gratitude.

I am a man of strong, unshakeable faith and optimism.

    Thanks for your post.

I wish you all the best as you begin your treatment tomorrow morning.  It may be a challenging few weeks, but you will get through it.  Stay strong, keep the faith, and think positive--you'll do fine!

    Oh, Santa...get out your checkbook!

I plan to ask Santa for things that I've been putting off, "in case I didn't make it". So far, I have made it and I'm tired of waiting any longer!

    Joyous Holidays!

I join you June in enjoying the holidays after being in treatment during them last year.  I just got back from a longggg road trip, picking up my daughter in VA from FL.  It presented some challenges but I made it, enjoyed and don't want to do it again, lol!  I would like to wish all of my forum friends the happiest of holidays and look forward to celebrating many more.
