Prayers and positive MOJO for lung tap tomorrow

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

I had to skip 2 of my Cisplatin treatments while having to return to St. Louis as my dad passed away. Recent CT shows an increase in my of fluid in both pleural spaces. A drain will relieve my increases SOB, buyy Oncologist main concern is no cancer cells present in the fluid. I'm not too worried as I have already had 7 fluid samples sent to the lab and no cells present.

Ive been off the site for awhile and hope all of my buds are doing well.

    I am sorry to hear of your Dad passing. My deepest condolences on his passing.

    Extra prayers on the lung tap. I had my lung collapsed twice, years ago, and they had to punch into the pleural cell to inflate. They used a tube just larger than 3/8" to inflate and removed all the fluid. Yours will be much better and easier, but extra prayers just 'caus we can....... Big MOJO TOO.

    So sorry to hear of your loss. I just lost my Mom Sept 11th. Sending good wishes for lungs your way.

    What a relief that must be Mike.

    First, i'm glad it came back clean and second, you can breath easier. Kinda got that elephant off your chest. Laughing

    Sorry to hear about your Dad, I lost my Mother and Dad many years ago and sometime wish there were still here to give me advice and support. I am glad to hear the up-date and that no C cells were found, keep up the good work my friend we are all praying for you

    Mike, i'm just seeing this.  I'm so sorry about your dad.  Life is so hard at times.  Praying for you and your family.  congrats on the good report.  that is something to smile about.  and the breathing better, that's a sweet bonus!
