O.T.-2 wks My Daughter graduates yet again from College

My youngest is graduating from college in 2 wks-first graduation she decided to NOT walk (since she knew many years to go. (going for her PHD)

she did kick herself now for not walking with the COMMUNITY college-but she is doing it very soon. WE are so proud of her-hard worker-busts her butt - I am not sure who is more excited me or her?

    I can relate to your post 100%. My 21 year old daughter is graduating from college on June 14th - and it only took 4 years to do it. In California that is a real feat. In addition, she procured a post-graduation job back in March. I couldn't be more proud. Cool

    That is really good.  I know.some.of.my neices and nephews have such à hard time getting thé classes they need so some have taken summer classes.

    Congrats to you both.  I was so excited when both my boys graduated from thé University here.  Actually cried.  I was told at dianosis I may not lake it to May.  Here I an, 3 years later, and still proud.

    Carol, thank you for your kind words. My first thought when I was diagnosed with breast cancer  4 1/2 years ago (Stage IIa) was, "OMG. I am not going to see them graduate from high school/college." Not only did I see both children graduate from high school but now both will be college graduates. My son will graduate in Dec. 2014. As cancer survivors we live for these milestones. I know these things are part of what kept me going during the dark days. 

    May we all have more of these precious family moments.

    Carol I will be crying Happy

    Carol I will be crying Happy tears for sure..just thinking of it makes me tear up..

     

    Carrie (my youngest) is theh first one to graduate from college ( twice...two 2 yr colleges)-first college she didnt' walk and kicking herself for not-so she now has her cap and gown in her hands and HAPPY and proud as can be
