Has this most amazing video of the mask, and of a radiation treatment session been posted here yet?  I found it very comforting to review, and it might be a helpful addition to our Superthread, if the thread accepts videos.  Also, I have no idea how to link to a video but it is called "My Radiation Treatment" and is located here:

Hope this link works.  The comments on this video are wonderful.

    Very interesting.  Is this

Very interesting.  Is this the way they do radiation nowadays?   I just remember staying in place and they rotated the machine to target the cancer area.

    Actually

I believe this guy does pretty much stay in place, although they do rotate him.  He mounted a Go Pro camera on the machine arm and that is what is swinging around.

    Thank you...

    Thanks for posting this.

I am 18 months out of treatment for tonsil cancer.  I know what it feels like to be on that table and in the mask but I had no idea what it looked like from the outside.  Wow!!  Amazing!  I started crying while watching this.  It almost seems like a dream looking back.

I have an appointment next week for routine scope and exam.  I hope to get the all clear but am getting a little nervous.  Will let you all know how it turns out.

Thanks for being here everyone :)

    Stationary...

I was stationary, and the IMRT machine rotated around me... 8-10 stops. about 2 minutes at each stop.
