Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Mixed feelings this year. Could live without this illness, but once I have it I'm thankful that there are people, medicine and technology that hopefully can help us. I started folfox last Monday so I feel pretty crapy, mainly with this really bad taste in my mouth that nothing seems to take away and with all this yummie food around it ain't easy.
Join me in wishing each other Happy Thanksgiving especially to those that are down, hoping that next year will be even better.

Laz. I sm sorry you are yet again going through a rough time of it. I really hope you recover quickly & that your journey through chemo isn't too harsh.

You are so right--we all have much to be thankful for! I am sorry you are not able to enjoy all of that good food, but perhaps you and Mrs. Laz can have another special Thanksgiving dinner once you are done with the chemo and get those taste buds back in good working order. I, too, hope that next year will be much improved for those who are going through a rough patch right now, you included. May God bless you and your family.

It is good to hear from you. I hope that you feel just a little better each day! Once that last round of chemo is over, your body can start healing and I am praying that each and every cancer cell in your body is gone! Happy Thankgsgiving to you and your family!0 -
Happy Thanksgiving, Laz and Others
Again said, Laz, so sorry you are having to endure the side-effects but so thankful you are up to checking in with us. I hope you have a turkey in the freezer for the day those taste buds are back in order as mentioned before.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a gathering of all of us for a huge Thanksgiving gathering. Until then, this is the place to be.
