Hi everyone...It's been a long time since I've been here..Husband, who had rectal cancer & a perm colostomy is having a scope done tomorrow morning. He has started the prep work. Yay..let the "fun and games begin!" anyway..just wondering how much different it is having this done with an ostomy. I am worried about such things as, who will put his pouch on him after the procedure & will they know what they're doing!? I know that sounds stupid..guess I just need something to worry about. I know I'll feel a lot better, once it's done. We are still getting used to life with the ostomy. My husband has done very well adjusting to his new way of doing things. I am just nervous about all the particulars. Prayers for a clean scope would be much appreciated! All blood work and ct scans have been excellent since his surgery in May of 2012. Thanks!
