Possible merkel cell skin cancer

I have a history of both basil and squamous cell cancer that I have battled. Recently I developed a rapid growing lesion on my stomach that has grown large with smaller harder lesions around the area. The large lesion crusts over and bleeds easily. I am waiting for the biopsy result and I am scared this my be merkel cell?? It looks different and grows different then what I have had in the past. The Dr told me it appears to be cancer but it is very abnormal to have 5 lesions to break out at once. i am not sure what kind of cancer this is but I am frighten.
