in Head and Neck Cancer #1

Hi guys,

 

I wanted to thank all of you for your sweet words after my father passed away.  I can not believe that it has been 1 month since mom and I lost him.  He was such a fighter and stayed strong right up to the end.  The ER docotrs told us it was pneumonia, but I think he has another stroke and also his cancer had spread to his lungs and liver. 

It has been really hard on mom and I being without him, but I am so glad that he is no longer suffering.  I truly believe he was tired of fighting and ready to go.  

Mom and I got the best compliment from his oncology office.  They said we were some of the best caregivers they had ever seen.  I wanted to let all of you know that we could not have done that if it had not been for all of the help and advice that I got form all of you over the last three years.

    kathy, hard 2 believe it's been a month.  i'm glad u dropped by to update us.  u should feel very proud for the compliment u received.  it isn't easy being a caregiver.  i pyar u and ur mom will find comfort in your memories now.  hugs.

    Time (seems) to follow a different path when you are dealing with cancer.
