I just saw a report on CNN about controlling pain with video games. I posted some time ago that during and after treatment for this cancer, I used video games on an ipad (thanks to my daughter) to control pain. I never took meds at all. Although I felt a little foolish sharing this method, it seems there is actually something to it, according to researchers! So, I would like to suggest that anyone experiencing severe pain, give it a try!

    If you got through anal cancer treatment without taking meds, there definitely must be something to it. I could never have made it without pain meds!
