Is Gleevec suitable for me as a prophylactic?

in Colorectal Cancer #1

I had a polyptetomy done for cancer in the sigmoid (large intestine). 

The polytectomy was sucessful and a followup CT scan showed no spread of the cancer i.e. liver, lungs etc were all clear.

A full blood scan showed perfect results.

Can I take Gleevec as a prophylactic ?

Would appreciate any advice.
