Anyone Tried Massive Vit. C?

I have done the search and read all the posts about Vitamin C.  I am wondering if anyone has tried taking massive C doses and did it help?  I have not seen any posts by anyone who has taken C, but there are good discussions about it.  Any information would be apreciated if it is about consumption and personal experience.  I ask because I am 80% going to try it.  I have seen massive doses of 40, 60, 80, and even 100 grams being used, some IV.  Having been in the pharmaceutical business, I do not beleive many reports because most reports are paid for by the pharmaceutical industry with the result already foretold.  Any experience will be gratefully apreciated. Wow, you sure gave me some great sights!!!!   Thank you so much.  I have looked at this a lot.  Many years ago, I had a very serious kidney infection with high fever.  I was in hospital the the drs wanted to remove the kidney.  I asked for more time, and began taking huge amounts of C. I was very ill.  In a few days, the infection started to wain, and I saved the kidney.

My situation is very grave.  I am going to get castrated on Wed.  This board saved me from listening to my first Uro to do the ADT, which may have been a disaster for me.  I am asymptomatic at present and have advanced bone mets. I suspect that the ADT could well have irritated the bones and the pain may have started.  I see no reason not to try the Vitamin C. My immune system is very good, and I see no downside.

I saw this on U-tube. A gentleman had been given three months to live, Stage four, metastisized. About two years later he seems to be chipper as he mixes 8 ounces of water, I think two tablespoons of Arm and Hammer, (that brand doesn't have aluminium in it), and a tablespoon of molasses. He warms it up a bit in a saucepan and drinks it. He says cancer can't live in a high pH. I don't know, but he is still alive for about 15 months more than he was supposed to be. Sometimes one's mind, a belief in something is what actually performs the healing.

Taken orally, about 20 grams will cause diarrhea. Europeans have injected sterile vitamin C intravenously with some success. Not enough data compiled yet to be used as a treatment. The Canadians have "vitamin parlors" where one can go to have a vitamin "cocktail" of one's choosing formulated for inratvenous injection. You can Google the amount of C used intravenously for cancer treatment. Probably okay in conjunction with traditional treatment. Might not be good to mix TOO many things together! Unexpected consequences you know!

I have read on this site, a while back, about this treatment.  When I researched it it came back negative.  Mexico seems like the last country to get this treatment. No proven benefits.

Everyone is different.  What works for one person might kill another.  You. Need to understand the risks and make an informed decision.

Good luck,

Mike

My husband is a stage IV at Dx in Feb and super healthy. We are making up liposomal Vit C using a very large ultrasonic machine purchased on eBay. He is presently taking 50g a day and not having any diarrhea. The study I have read (referenced above) was enough to get us interested. Prior to starting his own mini-factory, we were having IV Vit C but it was bankrupting us.
