Monument 10K Richmond VA

I walked my first 10k today in support of my Dad who is in the fight for his life with GBM and Brain Tumor Awareness .  I happened to notice a group of women in front of me with black shirts on and a message of "Care for your Brain".  I approched them and met a wonderful lady who is a year out with the same dx. as my Dad and doing FANTASTIC!  She offered to give me a hug!  Since I do NOT believe in "coincidences" and we didn't exchange names - I wanted to post this on a few of the forums I belong to in the hopes to reach out to her or her friends and tell you what you meant to me today!  I'm so proud that you were out there!  There were over 50K doing this run and she just "happened" to be in the same wave as me in plain sight.  THANK YOU.
