Please remember it is 'spring forward, fall backward.' So we loose an hour sleep (my least favorite day of the year). At 2am it will magically be 3am...
I love fall and I love to fall bacwards clock wise. I hate the spring forward and want to know each year, why change the clock that is working just fine. Ah well, won't win this battle unless I want to be late for everything.
Doris
PS: Thanks Susie for the reminder, I would have been an hour late for work on Monday.
Thanks for the reminder, not just about clocks but also of smoke detectors.
As for the clocks, I always change our bedroom clocks when I get up the Saturdays before a time change because they are the first clocks we see in the morning.
I have had smoke detectors on my mind the past few weeks, and so your reminder has me deciding to WRITE IT DOWN, rather than think I will remember to check on what I need to. THANKS!!
I love the picture you posted! Yes, we will set our clocks up, put new batteries in our smoke detectors and be sure and check your CO2 detectors too. ( i think that is what they are called )
Was your hubby thrilled Diane? lol Mine did it all and I didn't even have to remind him. He's great about taking care of stuff like that. Thank goodness!
My husband and I was acturally starting to think about it the beginning of Feb. I said "when is the date we Spring Forward" .I Knew it was March but wasn't sure which week-end.
Husband always remembers to set teh clocks because he works weekends. There's been times he comes home from work and sets the clocks forward before the night has begun.Drives me crazy. He said "I don't want to forget.
Thanks for the reminder. The smoke alarm is one thing he forgets. We have one electric but the other one isn't.
WONDER how soon my husband will set the clocks tomorrow????
Rose, Late afternoon was going by.No clocks were set soon after he got home from work(his ritual). Waited and kept wondering. Finally I had to say"Did you forget something".Don't think so.I told him about setting the clocks up like you do early every year.He forgot and got out of his chair and did it.We had talked about it a couple days before. He keeps telling me I'm forgetful and promises me he will take care of me if I get bad. LOL
He's never waited till time to go to bed like everyone else. It's very early. This year it was closer to 6 pm not 3:30.

Since I reminded all of you pink sisters, there will be a simple charge of hmmmmmmmm $20 apiece? LOL
Ok, it was free! You know I'd do anything for all of you!
I have to admit that this hour we lost has really hit me. I have been dragging all week! LOL
I hope all of you are energized and haven't had the same problem.

Better not update this to many times, someone might think to spring forward again this weekend.
Unless you want to fall backward and regain that hour that was lost?
Not sure which Nigerian Bank you wish me to deposit the $20.00, Susie?
