My husband had a CT scan today after being on Tarceva 2 months, all tumors are growing and there is some new nodules too. So, no more Tarceva and no more treatments. :(
The doctor told him he could contact one of the cancer centers to see if there is a clinical trial he may be able to get in but he doesn't want to do that because his sister entered one and he feels it contributed to her dying more quickly. It's hard to change someone's perceived thoughts. He also said in weighing pros and cons those centers are hundreds of miles from where we live so he's almost have to move there for a period of time which would take him away from his family and support system.

Oh! Dawn. This really sucks. Have you asked about clinical trials? I cannot begin to imagine what the two of you are going through..
