My brother passed away yesterday from Cancer
I informed everyone about 9 months ago that my brother was diagnosed with a very rare blood cancer. He underwent a bone marrow transplant which was a perfect match with high hopes, but has had many complications since. It is with a heavy heart that I am informing everyone that he passed away tonight on his 49th birthday. It has been a hard couple of years with my Dad passing, my brother passing and me being diagnosed with cancer myself. I feel this extra special connection with him because of my cancer diagnosis. I know the shock of being told you have cancer, the let down that maybe your life is on hold and you will not be able to see your grandchildren grow up. I loved him so much and have so many memories. Why did he have to go at such a young age??? He was not even fifty. I love you Frank and will miss you. I will do my best to beat my cancer for you my dear. You will see....

So very sorry for your loss
I lost my brother and only sibling from cancer in October. I feel as you do that I have will to fight even harder to live on and well for his sake as well as mine. I was diagnosed much earlier than my brother and always thought that I would go first, but that was not to be.
((((HUGS)))) Maria
