Hey Pepe, thanks for thinking about us.. I posted an update under Winter Marie's post. In summary, the doctors are amazed at how well Rick is progressing, and they're even talking about him coming home at some point next week! :-)

I've been staying at the
I've been staying at the hospital all week and will be going home tomorrow to get his "bedroom" together. The local Men's Club came by a couple of weeks ago and brought the spare bed downstairs and into the rear living room. So, now I just need to move a few tables around and it will become a nice new bedroom space so that he doesn't have to climb stairs. Hmm, I think i need to get cable hooked up in that room so that he can watch the Pats.
And there's even a fireplace next to the bed for romantic evenings.. Can you tell how excited I am to have him come home?! :-).
When he gets home, we'll need any helpful hints on how to best care for an illiostomy and a fistula. So that will a post for a later date.
