If it's the same stuff I remember, back in the day, my grandmother took it. It's mostly herbal with about 70 % achole in it. Some of the herbs MIGHT do you some good, but it was the achole that made you feel better! Best, Debrajo
Sorry, spell check is down! I should have said whiskey, spirits, booze, ect! Probably just snake oil but don't know what part of the country you are from, at least that's what they call it in Texas! Sorry again! Best, Debrajo

According to the Livestrong website: Vitex is shown to increase prolactin, according to the journal "American Family Physician." Prolactin is a growth hormone that plays a role in pregnancy and nursing.
This study shows prolactin stimulates growth in gynecological cancers:

Options for menopausal symptoms that I know of, which are safe with a cancer diagnosis are:
Rhodiola extract
the Chinese Herb Free and Easy Wanderer or Free and Easy Wanderer Plus
I've managed menopausal symptoms with various Chinese herbs and accupuncture. Perhaps there is an accupuncturist you can consult.
