Just thought I would let everyone here know that Glenna M. passed away last night. She was one of the first on here to welcome me and encourage me throughout my dads short battle with cancer.
So sorry to hear this sad news..... Glenna was truly an inspiration for so many of us. I was worried when she was not posting for the last couple of months. Rest in peace dear lady you will be missed. ..... Dan
There are so many tears today for someone we've never met, but have grown to love. Glenna was such a fighter and helped me survive after my husband passed away 2 years ago. She has gone through so much but kept fighting till the end. I didn't realize she was getting so close to the end and was shocked when I saw last night that she had passed. There are so many on this site who have become so close because we all understand. No one knows what it's like to be suffering from this disease or how hard it is to watch the one you love suffer and end up losing the battle.
I have had so much comfort and encouragement from people on this site. There's always someone who'll listen to you when you need someone to talk to.
We'll miss Glenna alot!!! "Carole"
Last year when my dad was diagnosed with NSCLC STAGE 3,she really helped me when I felt so down and depressed. So many of you have been inspiration to me and my father, who is Croatian, and does not write english or get on computers.Glenna will be missed by me.May she rest in peace.
Glenna was a great lady and I will miss her very much. She helped many through their trials and didn't speak much about her own trials.
My sympathies to her family. Diane
I am so sorry to hear this news, Glenna was a lovely person. If any of Glenna's family or friends are reading, please know that we are all thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.
It's been a very long time since I have been on and to just log on and see our poor Glenna! My heart is very heavy. May Glenna now rest in peace!
