I am scheduled at 10 a.m. for a "second look ultrasound", with possible ultrasound-guided biopsy or MRI guided biopsy. I choose Door #1. I told my husband--plan on going back to work after you take me to lunch. They are going to do their "second look ultrasound" and see that nothing requires a biopsy. Then we will go to a nice restaurant, have lunch and enjoy a glass of champagne in celebration. This is the energy I am bringing to myself.

It would be really nice, though, to have the pink bus waiting in the hospital parking lot for a few minutes. After my normal "second look ultrasound", you all can follow us to the restaurant, have lunch on us, and enjoy a glass of champagne (pink champagne, of course!).

    The Pink Bus will definitely be there! I better not drive this time--did you notice the big dent from last time? OK, who will drive it? But I'll be there and will be bringing my signature cafe au lait and beignets. No blowing powdered sugar on each other. I'll also bring lots of Mardi Gras beads and no one has to show a thing! Seriously, you know we are there with you in spirit. Big (((hugs)))

    My pink bus tutu is ready to go...Hopefully the restaurant won't mind, a bus load ordering champagne ...we'll tell them to put it on your tab....hope that's okay....lol

    We girls have a motto for the pink bus though: We meet...we eat!

    I am sooooo hoping for this to be a quick in and out with no need for either of those damned biopsies. I had both and I would be just like you if I heard that news...in fact I was shaking and crying when they said I needed another...then another. I just wanted to be out of it and even considered just forgetting the whole thing and crawling off to die. I am glad I didn't now. You have us by your side. This group of girls helped me too!

    I will take over the driving of our PINK Bus -- opting not to sip on too many
    glasses of pink champagne. I will be wearing my pink and white leather gloves,
    pink ray-ban's ...and my swarovski encrusted flip flops.

    I'll drive if Vicki Sam has her usual "issues" with champagne.
    I don't like champagne, so I can drive this time. Actually, it's a magic bus and we really don't need a designated driver, but I'll say I'm the back up anyway. But there might be something else to drink at lunch so I may have to use the magic button to take over on the drive home. It's sooooo good that we have that magic button because this group is getting totally out of hand, especially when we're celebrating.

    So, Renee, we're all on board in various forms of comraderie for you next week.

    Starting to get the jitters. I did look in my medicine cabinet--a full bottle of Xanax, never used, but got filled just in case. I'm thinking of popping one right before I go on Wednesday. Hubby is driving and will be with me. Anybody every tried one of these? I try to take deep breaths, stay calm, use meditation, blah, blah, blah, but my adrenaline overrides everything, I'm afraid. Then, my B/P is a million over a million and they freak out, so I freak out some more!


    Anyway--sending out to the universe--ultrasound only--looks great, no biopsy, all pink buses following us for a champagne lunch!

    Xanax...
    By all means TAKE the Xanax!!!!! I spaced and took 4 before a breast MRI..they were the lower dose, 2.5 mg....I now take .5 mg, one at night...but I also each take one before before bedtime....check what dosage you have... you can split the .5 mg if you want...for me, it really relaxes me and cuts the anxiety..let me know...I'll be on the bus,....I also take one before chemo...
