diareha associated with feeding tube,

What can I do to control diareha when using a feeding tube? Medicine does not seem to work. He is on 2cal with pump. 45 an hour. What can I do? Please help my dad.

    Usually it gets better with time, although I still have it off and on. I am a 6 yr survivor, but still use a tube for supplemental calories.

    What kind of tube
    Is it a J tube and what formula is he using? My husband is having great success with Peptamen 1.5. We learned the hard way that our insurance does not cover this, but have since found a couple of sources for getting it free and/or at greatly reduced prices.
