Glad you had a good trip away! Gives the mind a break from the stress of it all. Just finished 6 rounds of taxol/ cisplatin. Would like to take a short trip away also now that my strength is finally returning.

and coming back refreshed and ready to fight..... priceless! You're trip to Savannah sounds like it was just what you needed. I'm taking the WHOLE month of June off from chemo. I so needed a break from the constant routine of infusions. I've already planted flowers everywhere and I plan to play with my granddaughters all month.

"bring it on"... it's why I love you, Val ((((HUGS))) Maria

Love your attitude! Yes, I agree, hydration is a very very good thing with cisplatin. I don't know how people do it without that.
Go for it, VAl!

Glad you had a good trip. I love to get away once in a while. I think you are about half way thru the chemo. That is great! An end in sight! I am sure they will give you some hydration since it really helped you. Good luck my friend!

Glad you checked in and are doing ok. Just 2 more infusions right? I hope so. I know you have had a tough time but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Glad you got to enjoy some time away in the middle of it all. Hope you will then be done with this stuff forever!

Thanks for the report. So glad that your blood sugar came down. Those darn chemo side effects are maddening! Hope you were able to take a nice long nap.

Take care,
