    Chemo
Chemo was much easier for me than radiation. It will pass quickly. I will be praying for you.

    Matt,

Good for you, it is tough any way you slice it. Go for it, be brave and keep the faith. The world will always look a Little different from now on. You will do great.

Sleep well and breeze through chemo.

    Yeah Matt!!!
You're on your way :). Probably the most disturbinb part of getting your long day at chemo...is that they'll nudge you awake, and make you go get your rads, and then come back to finsih up your hydration. Take your meds faithfully (have the schedule on the kitchen table, so your wife can wake you up to take them)...

Drink lots and lots of water to flush you system after it is over. I'm always a little nervous cuz everybody is different and each session can be different. So far I haven't been sick, I just feel puny for a few days.

    Soonest Started - Soonest Done
I can honestly say the hardest part for me on chemo days (besides being stuck at the chemo lounge) was the Benadryl they gave me - it made me very woozy and tired the first time - when I let them know that my thoughts had gone fuzzy, and I was concerned, they turned the flow down on the Benadryl, and the feeling eased. Do well.

    You'll Do Fine....
The chemo is a lot less eventful than the thought of it...

I can only say to trust me on this.

But, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers,

    ON YOUR WAY
Well Matt, one down, and not so many to go, taking them one at a time, and that is the best way to take them. I can't comment on having a personal experience with chemo, but I'm thinking that for this too you grab that bull by the horns and power thru it; bring that doggie down and hogtie it, as the cowboys might say. You are not alone, we're all here with you. I'm sending positive thoughts and wishes your way. You Can Do It Matt!
