at this uninvited guest in my body. Yes Chemo Day One. It seems like its been years since I noticed the lump in my neck and hundreds of Doctors, Test, trips to Hospitals but the cancer kept on going about its business. Yes stretching reality a bit. Its been about 60 days but finally its time to hit back not just gather data. So I have finally reached the top of the slide, so to quote a Little Pig on a Geico Commercial here we go WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE,WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, wish me luck.

Wishing you all the luck in the world, Ditto....
and will send a prayer, too. You on the fast track now, to get this over, and move on with your life. I'll be getting chemo tomorrow, too....have to be there at 8:30...then they kick my out at 2:15 to go to radiation, only to come back and finish up my chemo. I usually get home around 4:30...

I'll be thinking about you, knowing I'm not getting it alone this time.......

    Good Wishes
look at it this way, you have a huge war to win and to do this it means winning the daily battles. your going to win those daily battles by maintaining a positive mental attitude (PMA), allowing and accepting help from others to win your daily battles along with lots of fluids. as a suggestion i would ask to schedule IV fluids on the fourth day after chemo.

    never, never, never give up.

    best wishes
and by the way, I dressed as Maxwell for Halloween...my Husband drove me around our small village, I was in the back seat, window down, pin wheel twirling yelling wheeeeeeee ..everyone got a kick out of it

I was blessed and did not have to have chemo or radiation, wishing you an easy, healing time of treatments

    Gotta get started
so you can get finished!! You're going to have a harder time of it than me (I have just radiation) but you'll make it with God's help and all the encouragement we get on these boards...our thoughts are with you and wanting to hear how you do!! BTW, did you ever get your mask fitted?

    Stay Positive..
Good luck for manaña, pretty soon ditto1 the treatment will be
over and it will be just a distant blur as you go about the rest of
    your life.
Stay positive, have faith and pray to the man upstairs, and you will
    be ok.

    God bless
    Tonsil Dad,

    Dan.

    Good luck Ditto
Good luck ditto, first step to recovery - love your attitude. The apprehensive ditto who first posted on here is long gone, and I think warrior ditto will win this battle without question.

All the very best of luck and am thinking about you today. Let us know how you get on.

    All the best

    You are ready Ditto
You have the positive attitude it takes to beat this crap.....The treatment works, trust me on that. But as you've heard, it is a long road to recovery. Take it a day at a time and you'll do just fine, better than fine, GREAT.
    All the best,
    Steve
